Windows 10 does have an option to automatically shut down the system after installing the updates. But, the option is enabled only after the updates are downloaded and initialized for installation. The screen turns black and you hear, that the hardware stops working. But the lights on the computer are still on and after a while it starts rebooting like after a reset. It does not go off.
